As a career coach, I observe my clients place a resounding responsibility of career development in the hands of their leadership team or company. Because of this, many of them feel an overwhelming sense of disappointment when they aren’t promoted, acknowledged or recognized. In my 20-year corporate career, I’ve led many teams.
